Pen has Cross brand medium black ink installed and Pencil has 0.9mm medium-soft lead and NOS eraser installed with extra lead under cap. The new, unbranded black PU leather with white stitching covered hard clamshell case includes a cream colored soft fabric holder with a cream colored ribbon hold-down to hold the pen and pencil in place.The fabric lined lid features a black PU leather band with white stitching in the middle that matches the outside cover. The pen and pencil have no visible dings or dents with minimal scratching of the matte black finish and gold accents. Please reference photos to assess the appearance of this set. The pen was sluggish on retraction of the ink cartridge during testing. The ink cartridge was removed and the mechanism was twisted back and forth several times and the ink cartridge was reinstalled and the pen worked without issue.
This issue can occur if the pen is unused for long periods of time. It is recommended that the pen is twisted to extend & retract the cartridge on a routine basis to prevent this condition. Cross Ladies Quartz Watch: Includes a three-hand (hour, minute, second) analog Japanese 6L12 MYOTA quartz movement with a date complication at the 6 o'clock position, and is hacking (stops second hand with stem pulled).
The case is made of polished stainless steel. The crown is barrel style and is signed has Cross "C" logo. The watch face is white color with applied diamond shaped stainless indices.
The chapter ring is a gold ring with an inner brushed stainless ring. The face is beveled and sits deeper than the outer edge of the bezel. The crystal is free of scratches with only minimal scratches on the stainless steel back. The watch band is Cross brand, leather in alligator texture with polished, signed clasp. A new battery was installed and the watch was tested at the time of listing to be in working order and keeping good time.The Watch box matches the pen and pencil box and is black PU leather with white stitching. The box lining is black felt with matching pillow to hold the watch.
