"Lamy 2000" Fountain Pen-Makrolon Matt Black Piston Filler-18K-Made in Germany. Lamy was a pioneer in using moulded synthetic plastics to make their products.
He Lamy 2000 was designed by Gerd A. Muller, an industrial designer and follower of the Bauhaus School. When the 2000 made its first appearance in the shop windows in 1966, it was the first writing instrument of the modern era which did not seek to be a status symbol but simply an honest, high-precision tool for writing by hand. Nib imprint: 18k 750 Lamy.
Nib material: 18 karat gold. I reckon the nib size is fine but I can't be 100% sure. Size capped: approximately 5.4 -Country of manufacture: Germany -Technical condition: the piston-filling mechanism is in working order. Optical condition: shows traces of wear.
