For your consideration I have this rare Parker 45 TX ballpoint & fountain pen in a Matte Blue Epoxy finish with gold plated trims. The fountain pen is fitted with a 14K solid gold nib in a Fine point.

The Parker 45 TX was made from 1979 ato 1983. As the pens lack a date code, they were made in 1979.

The pens are New Old Stock and in mint condition. Come in a deluxe Parker box, complete with an aeromatic converter for the fountain pen. The ballpoint's refill still writes, but I can tell how long it will last.

The Parker 45 TX was made between 1979 and ended production in 1983 giving it a fairly short lifespan. As a result not that many were produced making this pen a bit of a rarity. All were made at Parker's Newhaven Factory in the UK. The defining characteristics of the 45 TX are the dark blue epoxy painted over brass body with gold trim and a flattened conical disk on the end of the barrel to finish it off. The photo's are an integral part of the description.
