For your consideration, we are offering for sale this New Old Stock Jim Gaston Special Edition Sheaffer White Dot Legacy 2 Fountain Pen in the 23K Gold Plated Deep Cut Linear Cap & Matte Black Barrel fitted with 18K Solid Gold Inlay Nib. This fountain pen is in Mint Condition with it never being inked - considered New Old Stock Condition, Wrapped in Plastic Sleeve, New in the Box with all documentation. This Jim Gaston Special Edition Legacy 2 Fountain Pen was limited to 300 units ever being made in this combination. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Legacy 2 Fountain Pen and is the Jim Gaston Special Edition that was Limited to 300 pens. This pen is New Old Stock and was produced in 2003 - this pen has never been inked and I would consider it Mint Condition. The cap is 23K Gold Electroplated with Linear Engraving with the spring-loaded clip. "SHEAFFER'S USA" stamped on the sides of the cap clip and SHEAFFER U.

Stamped on the cap lip. The barrel has a Matte Black finish. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel.

The trim is perfect with no scratches, denting, or brassing. This Fountain Pen measures 5 1/2" inches capped and 5 3/4" inches posted. This Sheaffer Legacy 2 has the Touchdown Filling System and works as it was designed to - I tested with water and works perfectly. The Pump moves smoothly and easy to operate. One can also use the supplied ink cartridges instead of the Touchdown Filling System. This Sheaffer Legacy 2 has an 18K Solid Gold Fine Nib - it shows a hint of flexibility which is unusual for these Sheaffer nibs.

The nib is marked 18K Sheaffer 750 and has a point measuring. 52mm when using digital calipers. This Sheaffer Legacy 2 Fountain Pen comes with the original boxes, factory papers, 2 ink cartridges, and the pen is still wrapped in the original plastic sleeve.

Jim Gaston had 3 different versions made - they are as follows: 1 a Sandblasted Copper, 2 all Linear Gold Pattern, 3 and this one the Gold Linear Cap with Matte Black Barrel. This Sheaffer Legacy 2 Fountain Pen has a great color combination with Black and Gold and feels well balanced in the hand. I would consider this Sheaffer Legacy 2 to be New Old Stock, Never Inked and in Mint Condition. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection.
