Vintage "Lamy 2000" Fountain Pen-Matt Black Makrolon-18K Fine Nib-W. Lamy was a pioneer in using moulded synthetic plastics to make their products. The Lamy brand was established in 1952 and immediately the Lamy 27 was launched. The Lamy 2000 was launched in 1966 and designed by Gerd A.

Muller, an industrial designer and follower of the Bauhaus School. Cap imprint: Lamy 2000 W.

Nib imprint: Lamy 18K 750. Nib material: 18 karat gold -Nib size: fine. Size capped: approximately 5.2 -Country of manufacture: Germany. Estimated time of production: early model -Technical condition: the piston-filling mechanism is in working order. Optical condition: shows some signs of use.
